Conceive Of, Complete & Present a Cohesive Series Infused With Your Unique Artistic Voice in 16 Weeks
Don’t Put Off Creating Your Meaningful Body of Work
You might be…
A creator who has a body of work in you that you want to create during this lifetime
Someone who came to art late in life, and now you’re learning all you can about art-making
Currently employed, and you want to make the most of your limited creating time
Tired of calling yourself an artist but not having any real art to show for it
You might be an artist who…
Pursued art earlier in your life, and you’re now returning to art after taking a break (career, family, caregiving, illness, etc.)
Hasn’t yet achieved the unified body of work you would love to make
Has a commercial career, and now you’re turning your attention to your personal art
Has a show coming up, and you want to make your work the best it can be
Wants to create work that you can show, share, and sell in the next 6 months or less, even with a busy schedule
In the CAC,
creating a series is simple.
When you join the CAC, you start with the simple goal of creating a series of 10 pieces.
Everyone has the same goal, and we all support each other to make that happen.
We walk you through every single step inside the CAC program.
The process that we teach is simple, clear, straightforward, and it works.
We ONLY focus on what is vital for you to create your work while helping you manage the mental blocks that can keep you stuck.
You create a new body of your real work. Period.
We’re David Limrite & Jordan Blaquera
Together we have:
Managed a private art school
Collaborated on the book Create Anyway that helps artists to create with confidence
Helped nearly 100 artists conceive of, create and present a cohesive new series of work in 16 weeks (or less)
We’ve found the SIMPLEST path so you can finally get your ideas out of your head and onto the canvas (or whatever substrate you work on).
Get immersed in the creative process.
Stay focused.
Progress quickly.
Go deeper as an artist.
Stay motivated.
And create your new body of work.
“I think it's really important (for those who can) to do the CAC again and again... I got more out of the second time than I did the first, third time than I did the second. And now I feel like I really do have a handle on it. A handle on myself, mindset, and mark-making.”
— Helen Lavelle, CAC Artist

For me to move into creating a body of work is exciting.
[The CAC Process] provided a roadmap as to how I can take a concept and manifest it. Before if I’m drawing a model, it’s an external process. With this whole Chinese American [concept], it’s now become an internal process. It’s what I am feeling about that particular subject that is personal to me, which makes it 10 times more meaningful.

My Love of Wild Animals
By far my favorite.
Out of all the online courses I have taken this course is by far my favorite, the best, and the one I have learned so much from. And grown!!!
I am so glad I took the chance. I needed the guidance. The small community of artists made it special and comfortable.

Human Transitions
I can honestly say, this is going to change my world.
When you retire, you suddenly have all the time for your crazy little mind to run free and think. I LOVE the possibility of reigning that in! I absolutely love it. It's going to make my life so much better.
I have confused the ticker tape of thoughts with reality for quite awhile now and it has given me nothing but negative feelings of regret. I'm making a life decision to innovate my thoughts.
It certainly isn't easy, but the rewards! This isn't easy, but it's life changing.

Prelude: The Dividing Line of My Childhood
It has spurred me to get to work.
[CAC Module 1] forced me to focus and think about my scattered thoughts and ideas in a more concrete and structured way. I have much less anxiety about the project and moving ahead with it. I now have a more cohesive vision of what I’d like to convey and how I’d like to convey it, and it has spurred me to get to work. Yesterday I tested out my chosen mediums on various papers. Today I developed a sketch of the piece that is most fully formed in my mind at this time.

Layers of a Person’s Soul
Far exceeds my expectations.
I personally think you are both extraordinary at what you do and bring to the table. David, I consider you a mentor, an educator, and a friend. Jordan your connection, insight, and powerful take and ability to translate is astonishing along with your sense of humor….Far exceeds my expectations.
It is a great program and experience.

FAQs
Are the sessions recorded?
Yes. Every Session and Critique are recorded.
What if I miss a Critique Session?
We work to accommodate your schedule so that you can attend the sessions during which your work will be critiqued. However, if you cannot attend a Critique Session in-person, you may email your questions about your piece in advance. David will critique your piece “live” at the Critique Session, including giving his answers to your questions. You will be able to see the critique and his response(s) via the replay.
Can I work small (i.e., 8 x 8, 12 x 12)?
Yes. The size of your substrates is up to you. Artists have worked on 6 inch x 6 inch pieces all the way up to 5 foot-wide pieces. We’ve also had an artist carve a 10-foot totem pole. Small or large, it’s up to you.
How long are the online materials available after the course ends?
You will have access for 60 days after the conclusion of the CAC.

A fast track to successful work and work habits.
[The CAC is] a uniquely powerful online venue for artists, which cannot help but transport each and every one of them onward in their quest for personal growth. It is actually a fast track to successful work and work habits, even though it takes several months. Each artist had the same revelations I had.

I feel my voice is in this work.
Quite honestly I felt that this CAC was AWESOME. The Center of Interest Circles® really made a difference for me in narrowing down my focus. I’m just so grateful for all of the work you and David put into this program!!!! Because of your amazing support I feel my voice is in this work. Thank you so much!!!
— Tina
Definitely leveled-up my painting and creative process.
CAC has given me a much deeper sense of the value of my work and myself as a working artist. Your direction allowed me to find my way back to my ‘why’ from the get go. The Jump Off a Cliff Assignment in conjunction with the Center of Interest® process empowered me to take such a big leap of faith. One which has definitely leveled-up my painting and creative process. I continue to ‘jump’ daily.
— Sher
What an engaging,…inspiring experience this CAC is! I look forward to every session.
I never would have thought I would have learned so much…
…from focusing on one idea, one subject, one media for 12 weeks. I gained insight into my blocks to creating and ways to overcome them. The deadlines and submissions helped to keep me on track. I loved the way you two took each artist from where she was — each one's art and approach was valued. The whole course was incredibly well thought out to lead the artists on a personal journey and exploration of how they create their art.
— Mary Ann
You freed me to get into my heart and soul…
…and begin to identify and create the work I was meant to do for the rest of my life. I'm sure it has cut through years of bumbling around otherwise - so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
— CAC Artist
I enjoyed the critiques, and the deadlines meant that I produced more work...
The modules exploring the psychological side of creativity have been an eye opener. I appreciated that you both always related the topics and issues to experiences in your own life, not just some hypothetical situation.
— Connie
Very impressed by the level of artwork.
So many calls and messages came in from my friends and family who watched the CAC Reception. (There were a lot of them.)
Nearly everyone mentioned they were very impressed by the level of artwork, and several noted how beautifully the artists spoke about their CAC experiences.
The theme was repeated often: an appreciation and recognition of all of the hard work both of you put into the CAC. I told each and every one they were 100% correct.
